Ross and I became engaged on Christmas
morning of 2002 and began planning our (my) dream wedding.
Monday
morning started with a bushel of family and friends setting up chairs and tables
and arranging flowers and creating a beautiful setting for our ceremony
later that day.
The ceremony was full of heartfelt sentiments and we loved having so
many of our friends and family speak on the cornerstones of our wedding
vows. We picked these cornerstones for a strong marriage:
Safar (to journey), Courage, Trust, Joy and Love.
The theme was “hats & gloves” along with
a tea party, croquet and a 15 piece jazz orchestra. The day was full of
magic. Everyone looked elegant and joyful. Our wedding was even
published in “Alaska Bride” magazine.
Our officiant and dear friend, Jerry
Harper, passed away in April of 2005. We will miss you dearly.
The pictures for our wedding were taken by
Farrar Photography. We thought they were great!
